Eccleshall Singers have been singing for over 40 years and rehearse every week at the Methodist Church, Stone Road, Eccleshall between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. We are made up of all age groups and all levels of singers, the only qualification is that you must enjoy singing. You could be a Soprano, Alto, Bass or even a Tenor but we need some of every type.
You may not be able to read music or perhaps you can, we have room for all standards.
The Singers rehearse each week in the Eccleshall Methodist Church in Stone Road on Tuesdays starting at 7.30pm and ending approximately 9.30pm.
The Singers are not a religious group and they are grateful that they can use the facilities offered by the Methodist Church.
Members of the Singers pay a term fee of £12 which is equivalent of £1 a week to cover rental fees on the Church and the honorariums paid. There are three terms per year.
Prospective members are welcome to ' join in' on a few rehearsals (free of charge) before making any commitment; contact our secretary for details or further information.

MUSICAL DIRECTOR RETIRES After eleven year in the post Mrs Gail Gee retired from the Musical Director’s position at Eccleshall Singers at the end of the Summer term 2020.
Applications for the post are invited from people with sufficient experience in the field of music and the ability to lead and encourage singers to bring out the best out in them.
Eccleshall Singers was established over 40 years ago and is an accompanied four-part friendly community choir with over 30 members drawn from a wide local area.
The Singers rehearse on Tuesday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.30pm during the school terms in Eccleshall.
The Singer’s repertoire is varied including light classical, musicals, film scores to modern popular music.
The Musical Director is a voluntary post with a small termly honorarium.
